With over 35 years of experience, we've built a reputation for excellence grounded in trusting relationships, high-quality manufacturing, and a genuine commitment to helping our customers bring life-changing products to market.Located at the Group's head office in Norwest Business Park, we continue to grow, innovate and invest in our people, our technology, and our future.We're looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Production Planner to join our manufacturing team in Bella Vista.About YouReporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role is critical in ensuring our production plans are realistic, capacity-aligned and set up for success, enabling on time delivery while maintaining operational stability.You'll sit at the centre of our operations, translating customer demand into executable production schedules that balance labour, materials, equipment, and compliance requirements.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & SchedulingDevelop short, medium, and long-term production schedules aligned to capacity, labour, and equipmentTranslate sales orders and forecasts into achievable production plansSequence work to optimise efficiency, minimise downtime, and meet quality standardsAdjust plans in response to changing priorities, material availability,
or operational constraintsERP & ReportingMaintain accurate schedules and capacity data within the ERP systemCreate and release production jobsMonitor schedule adherence, utilisation, and delivery performanceProvide clear updates on production status, risks, and recovery actionsStakeholder CoordinationWork closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Account teamsCommunicate plans, changes, and risks clearly across the businessSupport customer delivery expectations with accurate timelines and updatesCapacity & Risk ManagementIdentify capacity constraints and production risks earlyEscalate issues with clear data and proposed solutionsSupport cross-functional problem solving to maintain delivery performanceQualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualification in Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 5–7 years' experience in a Production Planning or Scheduling roleExperience within electronics manufacturing (PCBA highly regarded)Strong understanding of the relationship between customer expectations, purchasing constraints, and manufacturing processesDemonstrated experience in production planning within a high-mix manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of PCBA processes including SMT, through-hole, testing, and box buildProven ability to balance customer demand with capacity, labour, materials, and equipmentAdvanced experience using ERP/MRP systems for scheduling, job creation, and capacity planningHigh attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and planning disciplineStrong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to adapt quickly to changeExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skillsIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Why Join Circuitwise?
