MedicalJobsAustralia.com Job Description: About this opportunity: We're currently looking for a customer focused and professional Administration Officer to join our supportive team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba on a casual basis.
As the first point of contact, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience, while ensuring the smooth coordination of administration services across our private hospital.
This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting and who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to our patients, visitors and clinicians.
About our hospital:
St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs.
We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients.
Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation.
We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services.
Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Things that work for us
Ability to work a casual basis, with a flexible approach and willingness to work across a rotating roster where required
Previous experience in an administrative - clerical setting ideally in a health care or hospital environment
Advanced keyboard skills including word processing and database management, including patient management systems
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to priorities competing demands
Understanding of the interrelationships between private hospitals and health fund services is desirable
