Scheduler / Rostering Coordinator – Aged Care & DisabilityHome Caring, part of The Caring Group, is an award-winning private home care company that provides aged and disability care across Australia.We are committed to delivering sensitive and respectful client-centred care, offering a wide range of services such as complex care, high needs, personal care, respite, domestic assistance and home maintenance in the comfort and privacy of the clients' homes.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Scheduler is a key member of the Scheduling and Planning team and is responsible for planning and scheduling the matching process between the Support Workers and the participants within their allocated regions to achieve efficient permanent scheduling, optimisation and service allocation goals.This is achieved whilst building strong working relationships and providing optimum customer service to our internal stakeholders and external customers.
You will be responsible for coordinating Support Worker rosters, ensuring continuity of care, award compliance, and responsive service delivery.KEY DUTIESSchedule and optimise Support Worker rostersEnsure adherence to the Rostering & Award Guide and relevant AwardsManage service changes and workforce availabilityCommunicate with participants and Support WorkersSupport effective workforce planningCollaborate with Operations and Case Management teamsParticipating in Rotating roster of On-Call duties for staff scheduling (including weekend work)ABOUT YOUExperience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordinationKnowledge of aged care or disability services and awards preferredStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsConfident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
