Community Development Officer - Youth, Children and Families (Temp Full-time)The Hills Shire Council - Baulkham Hills NSWBe part of a team that drives excellence in governance at The Hills Shire Council.We are seeking a highly motivated and community-oriented individual to join our Community Services Team as a Community Development Officer - Youth, Children and Families.
The successful candidate will facilitate community development activities for the community services team in accordance with the department of family and community services funding deed within the broad parameters of the Community and Family Support program.Working with us:At The Hills Shire Council, we live our values of Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, Leadership and Safety through the work that we perform for the Community.

Council also prides itself on being a Child Safe Organisation that is committed to promoting the health, safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people in our community.What does this role look like:Develop and implement projects to deliver youth and community sector development as per the Program Level Agreement with the Department of Family and Community Services with a focus on vulnerable children, young people,



families and communitiesDevelop and maintain effective partnerships with local community service providers and government agenciesProvide technical advice to project officers on specific activities associated with projects to ensure consistent quality in the delivery of engagement at an operational levelManage and deliver the Hills Youth Army programManage and implement Council's Youth Ambassador programWhat are we seeking in our recent team members:Degree or Diploma in Community Services5 years' experience in a similar or related roleDrivers Licence (Class C) - NSWWorking with Children CheckFirst AidBenefits of working with us:A salary of $98K per annum (excluding superannuation), paid weekly.
