Encompass House provides support to people living with a disability, their families, and other service providers to collaboratively enrich the lives of people with a disability and their families.
We use a person-centered approach to empower and support our participants to take control of their own lives and become more independent and active in community life.
This is completed by establishing a positive collaborative relationship with the participant and their support networks, such as family members, other professionals, and the NDIS to achieve their goals.
Encompass House is committed to child safety standards and guidelines and aims to protect all parties from any form of abuse and neglect.
Encompass Houses Support Coordinators/Recovery Coaches, key responsibilities, and duties are and not limited to;
Complete relevant assessment tools in line with departmental and NDIS guidelines
Provide a person-directed planning process for the participants
Develop and promote effective workplace communications with participants, families, support workers, community agencies, health professionals, government departments, and the general public.
Respond to enquiries – from clients, families, community-based organisations, services providers, NDIS, and DHS
Monitor and implement NDIS funding as agreed by the NDIS
Miscellaneous admin duties
Research and networking with service providers including community-based services to link clients to their community and enhance inclusion
You are required to have a good understanding and adhere to;

Mandatory requirements for this position:
Resume with details of two work-related referees
Cert 1V in Disability or equivalent
Cert IV in Mental Health (preferred)
Current First aid and CPR
Medicare Card –green card
Employee Working with Children Check - Linked to Encompass House
NDIS clearance- Linked to Encompass House
NDIS Workers Orientation Module and current Worker Induction Module
COVID-19 Infection Control Training through Australian Government
Fully COVID immunized
