Cos Baby in Freo is on the hunt for an experienced and enthusiastic breakfast chef to join our expanding team.
We're a busy little cafe in the heart of Fremantle, looking for someone friendly, efficient, reliable and with attention to detail.
Our kitchen is open 7am-2pm daily, serving brunch from our menu, and snacks from the cabinet.
The job includes:
Preparing and cooking a variety of brunch dishes from our menu, ensuring presentation and promptness.
Ensuring display cabinet is kept stocked, including any baking required.
Ensuring food items are stored, handled, prepared and served in accordance with Food Safety Standards.
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, managing stock rotation and daily ordering.
Fixed working hours available,



but must be available to work both weekend days.
This position offers ***** hours per week.
Candidates must have:
A minimum of 2+ years cooking experience.
Robust breakfast cooking skills include egg cookery, pancakes, grill operation, food prep, and cabinet food preparation.
The ability to work independently, as well as part of the team on busier days.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A commitment to Food Safety, and adherence to all Food Handling Standards.
