Leading Hand - Fitment
This position is primarily a hands-on in-house role, responsible for the assembly, preparation and despatch of Ute trays and accessories.

Based in Lonsdale, our South Australian workshop specialises in the fitment and delivery of high-quality ute trays and accessories.
We take pride in delivering products built for performance, durability and reliability, supporting tradespeople and businesses across Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and self-driven Leading Hand - Fitment to join our South Australian team.
This position is primarily a hands-on in-house role, responsible for the assembly, preparation and despatch of ute trays and accessories.
After you have built sufficient in-house skills with the training provided the role will also advance to the fitting of ute trays on customer sites.
Working closely with the South Australian Location Manager,



you will help ensure workshop operations run efficiently while maintaining Triple M's high standards of quality, safety and customer service.
The role also includes limited Leading Hand responsibilities, providing day-to-day support to the workshop team and assisting with operational coordination when required.
You will also act as the workshop's key contact during periods when the Location Manager is absent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble, prepare, despatch and fit ute trays and accessories to a high standard.
Assist with the coordination of daily workshop activities and fitment schedules.
Support and mentor workshop team members, promoting safe and efficient work practices.
Monitor stock levels and provide inventory reporting to management.
Maintain workshop equipment, tools and facilities in a safe and professional condition.
Contribute to the ongoing development of team skills and workshop performance.
Provide operational support and workshop oversight when the Location Manager is unavailable.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in automotive accessory fitment, manufacturing, fabrication or a related trade environment.
You will be a hands-on team player who leads by example and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.




We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
Experience within automotive, manufacturing, engineering or related industries.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to quality, efficiency, safety and customer service.
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
The ability to balance workshop duties with basic administrative and reporting tasks.
A current C Class Driver's Licence and reliable transport (essential).
A current Forklift Licence (essential).
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm, with reasonable overtime during peak periods.
