We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator to join our Medical Ward team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to work up to 3 days per week and support clinical excellence, professional development, and high quality patient care within a supportive health setting.
As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator, you will play a key role in supporting nursing staff through education, clinical teaching, and professional development.
Working collaboratively with Nurse Unit Managers, clinical leaders, and multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure evidence based practice and safe, effective patient care.

What you will bring to the role
Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
Relevant clinical/education post registration qualification or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer
Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel
Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
Demonstrated previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to working with NMUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values and encourages learning and reflective practice.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
