Are you passionate about building secure, scalable cloud platforms that make a real impact?
We're looking for a Principal Engineer – Security to join our Cloud Services Division at eHealth NSW.
In this senior role, you'll play a key part in shaping and securing the cloud infrastructure that powers our services across NSW Local Health Districts and eHealth NSW.
Reporting to the Capability Manager, you'll lead the design, planning, and management of the platforms that enable our cloud deployments, ensuring they're not only robust and efficient, but built with security at the core.
This is more than just a technical role - it's a leadership opportunity where your expertise will directly influence the success and safety of our cloud operations.
In this role, you will:
Drive technology development
including roadmaps and transition plans
Lead collaboration
to prioritise design trade-offs, risks, and delivery timelines.
Lead the team to execute
complex migration, implementation, and transformation activities, that align to technology solutions, services and components roadmaps.
Drive the development and improvement
of coding and testing standards, focussing on security, functionality, supportability, and efficiency.
Ensure a consistent high level of platform security
, optimisation, resiliency, stability and availability.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Ability
to work within a
demanding and complex shared services
environment
.
Superior hands-on experience
leading
the design, build and operations of Cloud Services infrastructure.
Passion for SecOps
, contemporary security practices and knowledge to share with others.
Demonstrated strong experience
in Solution Architect, Amazon Web Services, Cloud Networking, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), Scripting, Automation and Linux or Windows support.
Desire to
deliver
quality, impactful, enterprise solutions - with ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver results.
