Vegetation Management role working within an Environmental (SeamGas) team located in Moranbah on a 7/7 roster.
Residential or DIDO/FIFO.
MUST HAVE:
Current Coal Board Medical / Coal Mine Workers Health Assessment
Current Standard 11
G1, G8, G9 and G2 Competencies
Current Open Drivers Licence
Machinery experience minimum of 2 years - Tractor Operations, Skid Steer, Backhoe.
Supervisor must have ACDC / Weed spraying competency (or extensive experience), Chainsaw experience, and excellent computer literacy.
2 years minimum of Supervisory experience in Mining
Physical fitness to undertake duties as described below
Basic mechanical knowledge an advantage
Experience felling trees and operating chainsaws desired
Previous history working in vegetation management.
Duties include but not limited to:




Operation of machinery and attachments
Conduct and follow risk assessments and procedures for tasks
Control vegetation around site surface infrastructure; gas pipelines, process plants, electrical overheads and water bodies
Operational works within Environmental Seam Gas team such as weed spraying, Slashing, data collection and monitoring, mending fences, working with wildlife and cattle, escorting vehicles, physical maintenance tasks (lawn mowing, whippersnipping, weeding gardens, removing foliage, limited tree felling)
Working with computer systems for recording and monitoring.
