About the role
Due to the imminent retirement of the current Director, we are seeking a warm and experienced Centre Manager to join our cohesive team .
As the Centre Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our boutique childcare facility, ensuring the delivery of safe and exceptional educational programs and care for the children in our charge.
What you'll be doing
Championing the Paramountcy Principle in our service
Providing solid and supportive leadership and management to a team of dedicated educators who develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Overseeing the centre's budget and financial responsibilities
Fostering warm relationships with families, the local community, and key stakeholders
Co-ordinating the recruitment, performance review, training, and professional development of staff
Continuously seeking ways to improve the quality of service and enhance the children's learning experience
What we're looking for




Minimum 5 years' experience in an operational leadership role in either early childhood education or another regulated service field where skills would be readily transferable.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Early Childhood Education or a related field where expertise is transferable to an early childhood setting.
Current Child Protection, Child Safety and First Aid training
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to effectively manage a team and lead by example
Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children
Australian citizenship is required for this position
