Guardian Tactile Systems is a well-established Australian owned manufacturing company supplying and installing flooring safety products to the construction and civil industries nationally.
We are seeking a warehouse storeperson to join our busy team on a permanent full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will possess valuable communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable liaising with clients, suppliers and installation crews in a professional manner face to face, via email and over the phone.
Duties involve preparing orders, picking, packing, and shipping orders across Australia or arranging for warehouse pickups.
Liaising with freight companies, raising purchase orders, and monitoring stock levels with some manual work using essential tools like drop saws, drills, and grinders.
The applicant must have the following:
be a physically fit all-rounder
have some experience using basic power tools
be proactive, hands on and pay attention to detail
have good planning, communication and organisational skills




be flexible, use initiative, and be able to problem solve
be honest, reliable, punctual and enjoy taking a leading role within a small team
have a C class (manual) driver's licence
have a forklift licence
previous warehousing experience is essential
basic computer skills including email and internet usage are essential
be able to provide a current police clearance or the willingness to obtain one
have a construction industry white card (desirable but not essential)
full working rights in Australia only;
