About the Role
Working alongside experienced Electrical Engineers and Project Leaders, you will develop the skills required to become a Building Services Consultant and Project Engineer.
You will gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery, from concept design and documentation through to construction support and commissioning.
Your practical site knowledge will be highly valued, helping ensure designs are practical, buildable and aligned with real-world construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and delivery of electrical services for commercial building projects.
Learn electrical design software and engineering documentation processes.
Participate in site inspections, surveys and project meetings.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects and other consultants.
Assist with preparation of specifications, reports and design drawings.
Support project managers and senior engineers on major projects.
Review designs from a practical installation and constructability perspective.




Attend construction sites and assist with commissioning and project close-out activities.
Develop a strong understanding of Australian Standards, regulations and industry best practice.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with people and wants to continue learning.
Essential Requirements
Current WA Electrical Licence or previous trade experience.
5+ Years commercial building experience.
Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations.
Experience in the communications cabling field, security, access control, CCTV and fire detection would be an advantage.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Desire to build a long-term career within electrical consulting and project delivery.
