Product Support Officer (Junior)

As a leading supplier of automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy-duty and industrial filtration products throughout Australasia our business continues to grow and we are seeking a motivated and technically minded Junior Product Support Officer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in the automotive industry who is looking to develop their technical knowledge and build a long-term career in automotive product support.
Full training and support will be provided.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support our Product and Customer Service teams by assisting with technical enquiries, product information and application support.
Responding to product and vehicle application enquiries from customers, distributors and internal teams.
Assisting customers with identifying the correct filtration products for automotive and commercial vehicle applications.
Researching vehicle applications, product specifications and technical information.
Maintaining product data, catalogues and application information.
Assisting with new product research and product range updates.
Supporting technical investigations and helping resolve customer enquiries.
Working with internal teams and suppliers to provide accurate product information.
Assisting with competitor product research and market information.
Ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with company quality and safety procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Experience:



Some experience in the automotive industry or a technical environment is preferred but not essential.
We welcome applicants who are eager to learn, develop their technical knowledge, and build a career in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of automotive systems and a willingness to learn about filtration products and vehicle applications.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and troubleshoot technical enquiries.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally.
Customer Service: A customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others and resolving technical enquiries in a timely manner.
Computer Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and learning new systems and product databases.
Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with the ability to accurately research and maintain product information.
Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
