You will maintain, repair, and install HVAC systems while working closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems on ships and marine/offshore vesselsDiagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting of HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, and ventilation unitsPerform routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of HVAC equipmentHandle refrigerants safely, including charging, recovery, and leak detection in compliance with regulationsRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system diagramsEnsure all work complies with safety standards, marine regulations,



and quality proceduresCoordinate with marine engineers and technical teams during onboard repairs and dry dock operationsMaintain accurate service records, reports, and maintenance logsRespond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimize downtimeAssist in installation and commissioning of recent HVAC systems and upgradesEnsure proper functioning of temperature control systems for cargo and onboard environmentsRequirementsProven experience as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic / HVAC TechnicianDiploma/ITI or relevant certification in HVACStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, and ventilation systemsExperience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and system diagramsFamiliarity with refrigerants, leak detection, and safe handling practicesUnderstanding of safety standards and compliance requirementsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentWillingness to work in marine environments, onboard vessels, or offshore locationsFlexibility to handle emergency repairs and irregular working hours
