The project will achieve circular economy outcomes, increasing recycled water production, improving the quality of wastewater byproducts for reuse, and leveraging innovative treatment technologies that reduce carbon footprint.
Upgrades will support the treatment of a further 45 megalitres of wastewater each day, to cater for growing northwest communities.
The Project will deliver a current state-of-the-art biosolids facility at Riverstone, with new technology to improve the quality of wastewater byproducts.About The RoleMaintain a strong presence on site and supporting the delivery team achieve and maintain compliance to the John Holland IMS systemAnalyse safety problems and recommend solutions to appropriate managerConduct routine HSE inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areaCoordinate investigations of site events when/as requiredAssist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processesCreate, evaluate and administer safety programs for all employeesMonitor compliance with the HSE systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the Project Management TeamSupport management and dissemination of informationSurvey, evaluate, investigate and gather information that will address inadequacies concerning safety,
health and environmental matterPrepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of the safety program assignedMaintain knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including government WHS legislation, standards and policiesMaintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures to enable the performance of assigned duties in a safe mannerMaintain professional relationships with regulatory bodies, clients and contemporaries to foster the professional image of the organisationPerform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and proceduresTo be successful in this key role, you must have:Cert IV in Training & Assessment desirableA solution focused approachWork, Health & Safety QualificationsExperience in supporting stakeholder groups and teams within area of responsibility such communicating with frontline employees and first line managersAbility to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentationQuantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development skills as well as monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projectsWe OfferWe're about connecting your sense of purpose to ours.
