Through our diverse portfolio, data-led decision-making, and nationwide development pipeline, we do things differently.We are Vicinity.Role purposeWe're looking for a proactive, and customer-focused Security Risk Manager to join our team and lead the security operations function of the Sydney CBD assets - QVB, The Galeries and Strand Arcade.As a key member of the Shopping Centre Management Team, you'll work closely with our security providers, retailers, emergency services, local law enforcement and other key community stakeholders to drive best practice in incident preparedness, emergency management, contractor performance, and community engagement.You will have a primary shopping centre working location with some requirement to work at other shopping centres in a supportcapacity where there is no Security Risk Manager.
Providing leadership presence duringpeak trade periods, which includes working every second weekend, is a requirement of the role.Key accountabilitiesLead local emergency preparedness and incident response, including regular and comprehensive training of shoppingcentremanagementteamsAct as the key connection between the shoppingcentremanagement team,



security guarding providers and the National SecurityteamManage and enhance the performance of contracted securityprovidersEnsure quality assurance in incident reporting and follow-upactionsConduct regular security and risk assessments and implement mitigationstrategiesBuild strong relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, schools, and communitygroups.6 days/4 days roster, every second Sat and Sun worked (Sat - Thurs then Mon-Thurs).
