We're the regional tourism organisation for the Fraser Coast the stretch of Queensland that takes in Hervey Bay, K'gari, Maryborough's heritage streets and the rural hinterland.
We market the region, develop the visitor economy and deliver events that bring people here.
We're rolling out a new brand identity, and we're looking for a Graphic Designer to bring it to life.
About the role
This is a hands-on design role with genuine variety.
One week you might be building campaign key visuals and social assets; the next, laying out a visitor guide, preparing print-ready signage for an event, or building Canva templates the whole team can use.
You'll own FCTE's visual identity across digital, print and campaign channels — and act as our in-house brand guardian, making sure everything we put out looks and feels like us.
You'll report to the Head of Marketing, Brand & Digital and work closely with our marketing, events and partnerships teams.
What you'll be doing
Applying and championing FCTE's recent brand identity across everything we produce
Designing creative for seasonal and event campaigns key visuals, social graphics, digital ads, EDM headers,

Producing partner and event collateral, including visitor guides, brochures, signage and programs
Preparing print-ready artwork and managing print suppliers from brief through to proofing
Building and maintaining design systems, templates and our digital asset library
Briefing external creative suppliers when specialist input is needed
What you'll bring
2+ years' professional graphic design experience (agency, in-house or freelance)
A strong portfolio showing range across brand, digital and print
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent
Solid understanding of digital specs and print production requirements
Strong brand sensibility — the ability to work within a system and still bring creativity to it
The organisational nous to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
A Certificate IV or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field (desirable)
Motion graphics, Canva template building, accessible design knowledge and supplier management experience are all a bonus.
