As a Mechanical Service Technician at Astec Australia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for our clients' industrial machinery and equipment.
Based in our Acacia Ridge, Queensland facility, this full-time role will see you working closely with our customers to ensure their operations run smoothly and efficiently.What you'll be doingAttend all training as requiredCarry out service/maintenance and fabrication/modification at the highest qualityPrepare daily job reports and accurately record detailsAssist the service team with installations- as requiredAssist in operator training with customersSupport the service team with all reasonable management instructionDismantling and relocating mobile &/or fixed plantWork collaboratively with other team members & provide proactive solutions & actions to get the job done, safely and efficiently.To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:Certificate III Engineering or equivalent e.g. Plant Fitter/Maintenance Boilermaker.Experience within – Manufacturing/Process plant equipment.Highly Advantageous.




Asphalt Plant experience.Experience with Pneumatics & ability to troubleshoot faultsExperience with extra low voltage circuits – 12vdc – 24vdc, with ability totroubleshoot faults.Relevant tickets: EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift and Construction white cardMotivation to continually learn and develop with Astec AustraliaWhat we offerAt Astec Australia, we are committed to providing our employees with an engaging and rewarding work workplace.
