Joining Equity Trustees as our Trust and Grant Manager, you will step into a parental leave cover contract within our Philanthropy & Community Trustee Services team - a high-performing, values-driven group collectively responsible for overseeing approximately $120 million in community funding annually.In this role, you will be the lead granting professional in our Medical Research & Health focus area, managing a portfolio of discretionary and non-discretionary charitable trusts and delivering on the focus area's granting strategy while continuing to support existing grant partners.
No two days will be the same, and your ability to connect with people, manage competing priorities, and champion impact will be central to your success.What you'll do:Manage a portfolio of charitable trusts, ensuring grant agreements, distributions and trustee obligations are on track and relationships with grant partners are well maintainedLead the implementation of the Empowering Change Medical Research & Health focus area, assessing applications and presenting recommendations to relevant decision-making bodiesBuild and sustain collaborative relationships with grant partners, charitable organisations and internal stakeholders to deliver excellent client servicePrepare reports, lead reviews of grant programs and contribute to process and procedure documentationEnsure grants and payments comply with regulatory requirements and internal procedures,
