It's about feeling supported in your health, connected with your community and empowered to live life on your terms.About the OpportunityJoin Australian Unity's Finance & Strategy team as a Purchasing Officer and play a key role in supporting the financial management of our Group Technology function.This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, invoices and receipting activities, while ensuring compliance with company policies, financial controls and taxation requirements.
Working closely with Finance, Group Technology, Procurement, Accounts Payable and external suppliers, you'll support the Technology Commercial function through effective purchasing administration, query resolution and process improvement.You'll help ensure technology-related expenditure, vendor payments and purchasing documentation are managed in line with agreed processes, while contributing to strong financial governance and service delivery across the function.In this role, you willManage purchasing activities including purchase order creation, invoice processing and receiptingSupport the timely resolution of billing,



purchasing and invoice‐related queriesWork closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve processing issuesMonitor and triage service requests and shared mailbox activityMaintain accurate documentation, registers and billing process recordsEnsure purchasing and invoicing activities comply with financial controls, company policies and SLAsIdentify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and ways of workingAbout YouYou're a detail‐oriented finance, purchasing or accounts payable professional who enjoys working in a role where accuracy, organisation and stakeholder service are key.You bring a structured and methodical approach to your work, with the ability to manage competing priorities, resolve queries and follow processes accurately.
You're comfortable working with internal teams and external suppliers, and take pride in delivering timely, reliable support in a busy environment.Your background may include experience in purchasing, accounts payable, finance administration or a similar role.
Exposure to technology‐related invoicing, contractor costs,
