Our client, Alpha Luxury Rental Pty Ltd T/A CABBAGE TREE POINT GENERAL STORE & BOAT HIRE, is seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their store.

Job Responsibility
Manage the overall retail operations of the store while maintaining high standards of customer service, profitability and operational excellence.
Duties
Monitor daily sales activities and adjust product offerings to meet customer demand and seasonal trading patterns.
Manage inventory levels by forecasting stock requirements, coordinating supplier deliveries and reducing stock wastage.
Establish customer service expectations and ensure the team consistently delivers a welcoming and efficient in-store experience.
Plan and coordinate promotional activities, local marketing campaigns and in-store merchandising to increase customer engagement and sales.




Provide customers with product information and recommendations while supporting the sales team during busy trading periods.
Maintain accurate records relating to stock movements, daily sales, cash handling and other financial transactions.
Prepare and monitor store budgets, review operating costs and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
Recruit current employees, organise staff induction and training, allocate daily work responsibilities and oversee employee performance.
Prepare staff rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained in line with business requirements.
Ensure the store complies with workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards and company operating procedures.
Review business performance reports, identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualification
AQF Diploma or higher.
1-3 years of experience in related field.
Salary
$75,000 – $90,000 + Superannuation.
Employment Condition
Full Time
38 hours per week.
