This role is residentially based in Mount Isa, working a 5/2, 4/3 9-hour roster.

You'll ensure plans are practical, achievable, and aligned with real operational conditions, while proactively identifying risks and constraints.
This is a role where your work directly influences daily performance on site—turning plans into action and enabling reliable execution of the mine plan.Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain accurate short-term mine schedules aligned with the approved mine planTranslate medium- and long-term plans into transparent, actionable schedules.Collaborate with Operations and Technical Services to ensure schedules are practical and executableIdentify scheduling constraints, risks, and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategiesSupport delivery of production and development targets through timely and reliable scheduling outputsWork closely with Operations teams to scope upcoming work and monitor schedule performanceAnalyse operational performance and provide feedback to improve schedule reliability and efficiencyMaintain scheduling systems, data, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibilityEnsure all scheduling activities consider safety, operational risks, and site requirementsAbout you – skills and experience:Degree qualification in a Mining-related disciplineExperience in underground hard-rock mining, ideally in planning or scheduling rolesStrong understanding of underground mining methods, development, and production processesProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with mine design and scheduling software (Deswik preferred)Ability to analyse data and develop practical, achievable schedulesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsA commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
