Agricultural Requirements is seeking an experienced/qualified Boilermaker / Welder to join our team in Gatton, QLD.
This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to apply your expert welding and boilermaking skills in a dynamic agricultural manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining high-quality metal structures and components that are critical to our product offerings.
This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring our operations run efficiently and safely.Key responsibilitiesPerform precision welding on various metal materials using multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick weldingRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications to ensure accurate workConduct quality inspections on completed welds and components, identifying and rectifying any defectsMaintain and operate welding equipment, including maintenance checks and calibration as requiredFollow all health and safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipmentCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standardsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on processes and efficiencyWhat we're looking forCurrent certification or qualifications in boilermaking and/or welding recognised by relevant Australian standardsProven experience as a boilermaker or welder,



with demonstrated competency across multiple welding techniquesStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accuratelyKnowledge of welding safety standards and best practices, including WHS complianceExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing work of the highest qualityStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a teamPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in varying environmental conditionsPreferred: Experience with stainless steel and aluminum fabricationWhat we offerAgricultural Requirements is committed to providing a rewarding workplace for our employees.
