Astraea Law is a modern boutique law firm with offices in Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast, practicing in conveyancing, property, commercial and estate planning.
As our Brisbane office continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Paralegal or Law Graduate to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for either:
An experienced Conveyancing Paralegal, or
A recent Law Graduate seeking practical experience.
Conveyancing Paralegal
Depending on your level of experience, you will independently manage or assist with residential conveyancing files from contract through to settlement.
Prepare correspondence, legal documents and settlement documentation
Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, financiers and other solicitors
Conduct property searches and prepare settlement figures
Assist with electronic settlements through PEXA
Monitor critical dates and manage file progression
Maintain accurate file records and ensure compliance with firm procedures
Provide legal and administrative support to solicitors as required
Law Graduate
Recently completed law degree (or awaiting admission)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and organisational skills




Client-focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping people
Great phone manners
Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and responsibility
Previous experience in a law firm is beneficial but not essential
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
You will receive mentoring from experienced solicitors and gain practical exposure across conveyancing, commercial and property matters.
