creativity and a strengths-based approach to your work.You will ideally have:Strong communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to engage and motivate young people from diverse backgroundsConfidence supporting people with a range of abilities and behavioursResilience, initiative and strong problem-solving skillsExcellent organisational and computer skillsFlexibility to work across a varied roster, including weekends when requiredAn understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practice (desirable)Qualifications & ExperienceWe welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, including:Youth WorkCommunity ServicesEducation and TrainingDisability SupportSocial WorkCounsellingHighly desirable:Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Counselling or a related fieldCurrent professional registration or membership with:Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)Australian Counselling Association (ACA)Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)Formal qualifications are valued; however, relevant experience, life experience and a genuine commitment to supporting young people are equally important.What You'll NeedA genuine passion for supporting people facing barriers to employment and community participationStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work towards participant outcomes, service targets and KPIsSound judgement, initiative and professionalismCurrent right to work in AustraliaCompliance RequirementsSuccessful applicants will be required to hold or obtain:NDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking with Children CheckNational Police CheckCurrent Driver Licence and reliable vehicle (desirable)Right to work in Australia
