delivery and collectionEnsuring the Food Safety Program is followed and records kept up to dateAdhering to Speech Pathology recommendationsStorage & Inventory ManagementMaintenance & cleanliness of the kitchen & service areaEnsuring effective communication with all stakeholdersProviding good customer service and managing feedback in line with SummitCare's Feedback systemTo be successful in this role, you will have:A current Criminal Record CheckCompleted a Certificate III or IV in Hospitality / Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualificationMinimum two (2) years' experience in a Cook role within Aged Care / Commercial kitchen environmentAbility to communicate clearly & effectively ensuring cultural sensitivity is respectedDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of current HACCP guidelinesExperience in a wide range of cooking, diet and nutritional requirementsCompetent in food preparation & service, cooking & plating, with demonstrated experience cooking for a large group and in sandwich makingAbility to supervise and coordinate catering staff with their daily dutiesDemonstrated ability to work within a team and without supervisionFine PrintFor candidates: You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for our roles, and that candidates may be subject to a range of wellbeing checks in the recruitment process.
