We are seeking a highly motivated and customer focussed Hospitality Manager to join our busy BBQ Restaurant.
Our popular and busy venue is located in Walloon, 15 minutes west of Ipswich, 2 minutes off the Warrego Highway.The Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for guests and supporting the front of house environment for staff.
This is a key role that works closely with the Restaurant Owners and Head Chef to deliver on the business vision.Responsibilities:Managing and motivating front of house team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.Onboarding, training and upskilling staffHigh level of communication that is inspiring and engaging amongst all staffExperience working to financial goals of the business- Scheduling, inventory and expense controlManage stock levels for FOH and working with Assistant Manager to ensure stock iskept at appropriate levelsOrder stock as requiredAbility to train and backfill all FOH positions including Bar and Café to assist in the smooth operating of the venue.Managing VIP guestsHandling customer complaints and ensuring they are resolved to their satisfaction.Opening and closing of the venueMaintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.Conducting regular meetings to plan and improve processesCreating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience.Encouraging staff to build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide personalised experiences.Opening and closing duties including shift and wastage reportsRequirements:Experience in Management role in a restaurantFood Safety CertificateMust be available to work on some closes and work weekendsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasksStrong leadership and team management skillsRMLV, RSAA passion for delivering excellent customer service and empowering a teamBe organised and possess great communication skillsIf you have a proven track record of success in Restaurant Management, are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, and are looking for an exciting new challenge, then we would love to hear from you.
