In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering strategic tax solutions and compliance services that drive value for our clients and support the continued growth of our firm.
Your expertise will be central to helping businesses navigate the complexities of the Australian tax system whilst optimising their financial positions.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and lodge tax returns for small to medium-sized businesses, partnerships and individuals, ensuring full compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirementsProvide strategic tax advice to clients on structuring arrangements, investment strategies and tax minimisation opportunitiesConduct tax compliance reviews and identify areas for improved tax efficiency and cost savingsManage client relationships professionally, responding to queries and providing clear explanations of tax matters and recommendationsMaintain accurate and comprehensive client records and documentation in line with professional standards and regulatory requirementsLiaise with the ATO on behalf of clients, including responding to inquiries and managing audit mattersStay current with changes to tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and the teamSupport the preparation of financial statements and management accounts for clientsContribute to the development of tax solutions and service offerings that enhance our business servicesWhat we're looking forA relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, .
Demonstrated experience in tax preparation and compliance work, ideally within an accountancy practiceStrong knowledge of Australian tax law,
