This position will be employed on a permanent full-time basis.
Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope's Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater's commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport.
This facility was established in **** and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.Salary range: $***** - $***** per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doingWhilst maintaining the highest level of clinical standards for the unit you will be responsible for:Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and the continuum of careMaintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growthSupporting the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provisionAbout youTo be considered for this position, you must have:Minimum of 4+ years post graduate experience in oncology or haematologyLeadership and team leader experiencePost graduate Diploma or higher (desirable)Demonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy administration, central venous line management, and the management of patients undergoing stem cell transplantationCurrent AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate management and workloadsStrong knowledge of continuous improvement process, coupled with the proven ability to initiate,
