About the role:
As a Barista, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Maroochydore.
St Vincent's Care Services Maroochydoreis a contemporary, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct within walking distance of restaurants and shops centre on Queensland's famed Sunshine Coast.
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity with AM shifts available 7 days /week.

Preparing high-quality coffee and other cafe beverages for our residents and customers.Food Handler Certificate, Allergen Management and Barista courses highly regarded.Assisting with food preparation, stock management, and general cafe duties as required.Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high-quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the FacilityHigh level of customer service skillsFlexibility to work morning shifts across the weekWillingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residentsStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAn ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation,
and food safety standardsAn ability to work within a multidisciplinary teamAn understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilitiesNationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
