On behalf of our Client, a World Leader in the Oil & Gas Energy sector, Brunel is presently sourcing a Terminal Operator to play a key role in the secure, efficient and environmentally responsible operation of a busy terminal facility located in Western Sydney.
This will be a casual contract due to commence in early October ****.DescriptionThis role is responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing site facilities in a safe, cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.
The successful candidate will contribute to site safety, security, environmental protection, quality processes and business controls in accordance with operational excellence principles.Manage contractor and driver safety, compliance and site inductionsAct as the liaison between the Control Centre, TOU and site operationsCoordinate inventory management and measurement activities with internal and third-party stakeholdersManage site-based projects and contractor worksWitness meter proving activities and complete required documentationSupport mechanical and operational maintenance activitiesExecute work permits and maintain operational recordsIdentify maintenance and PDM improvement requirementsEnsure all work complies with safety and regulatory standardsProfilePrevious experience as a Terminal Operator is requiredSecondary / High School Diploma or college-level qualificationCompletion of assigned Stage 3 Training in accordance with GMT StandardsHigh-level knowledge of measurement practicesStrong understanding of product quality requirementsKnowledge of applicable operational rules, regulations and standardsProficient in MS Excel and WordExcellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated leadership capabilityAbility to work independently with moderate supervisionJob OfferCompetitive hourly pay rate!
