The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring materials, products and components are efficiently received, stored and dispatched to meet production and customer needs.
This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, making it a vital part of our supply chain success.
The position is based on-site at our Hillsdale facility.What you'll be doingOperating forklifts and high-reach equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack and retrieve goods throughout the warehousePicking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and other turnaround times.Ensure warehouse functioning and consolidation of goods.Ensure that all freight is moved correctly to minimize misroutes.Performing stock receiving and putaway activities, ensuring accurate placement and organisation of inventoryPreparing orders for dispatch according to specified instructionsLoading and unloading delivery vehicles in a timely mannerMaintaining warehouse cleanliness, organisation and compliance with health and safety standardsOperating warehouse management systems and scanning equipment to track stock movementsSupporting team members and assisting with ad-hoc warehouse tasks as requiredFollowing all safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents immediatelyWhat we're looking forMust have Current forklift licenseMust have proven experience driving High-reachProven experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularlyReliability and commitment to maintaining health and safety standardsFamiliarity with warehouse management systems is advantageousAbout usAt globalcatalogue, we're proud of our heritage as a 100% family-founded Australian company.
