In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming samples, ensuring they are logged, processed, and managed efficiently.
You will play a vital role in sample integrity and customer service while collaborating with both clients and laboratory staff.We are particularly seeking candidates who can work the afternoon shift from 11 AM to 7 PM, with flexibility to meet the operational needs of the laboratory.Key Responsibilities:Sample Management: Unpack, check, and accurately log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring all information is recorded correctly.Customer Service: Respond to general customer enquiries via phone and email, including booking couriers,



organising bottle orders, and providing advice on sample containers and preservatives.Logistics & Supply Management: Prepare and manage sample containers and project supply orders to ensure laboratory efficiency.Lab Coordination: Work closely with laboratory staff to prioritise and promptly pass on urgent samples.Quality & Compliance: Complete all Quality Control records in accordance with the Quality System.Workplace Safety & Waste Disposal: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of sample waste (e.g., soil jars, water bottles, metal waste, solvent waste).
