As a Clinical/Registered Psychologist, you will be at the forefront of delivering evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients across a diverse range of presenting concerns.
This position is integral to our mission of providing high-quality, accessible mental health services to our community.Key responsibilitiesConducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews with clients presenting with various mental health concernsDeveloping, implementing, and monitoring individualised treatment plans utilising evidence-based therapeutic interventionsProviding psychological counselling and psychotherapy to clients across the lifespanMaintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborating with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, psychiatrists, and allied health practitioners, to ensure coordinated and holistic client careAssessing risk and implementing appropriate safety protocols and crisis intervention strategies when necessaryContributing to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in psychological theory and practiceParticipating in clinical supervision and consultation to support quality outcomes and skilled growthProviding feedback and recommendations to clients and referring professionals regarding assessment findings and treatment progressWhat we're looking forCurrent General Registration with AHPRA(or will receive within 4 weeks from application)Experience providing evidence-based psychological interventionsCompetence in conducting assessments and writing comprehensive reportsAbility to manage a clinical caseload independentlyStrong risk assessment and case formulation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalism, ethical practice, and confidentialityCommitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practiceAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamProfessional indemnity insuranceWhat we offerCompetitive remuneration (depends on the experience)$1,000 annual CPD allowance for Clinical Psychology Registrars only during their placement at Psych ConnectIndividual supervision with AHPRA-approved supervisorsProfessional indemnity insurance is provided for Clinical Psychology Registrars during their registrar program at Psych Connect.Access to comprehensive assessment toolsMonthly peer supervision & in-house trainingFlexible days and hoursStrong admin & reception supportClear career progression pathwaysModern consulting rooms + great team cultureAbout usPsych Connect Pty Ltd is a dedicated psychology service committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families across our community.
