We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to join our Natural Areas team working across diverse ecosystems throughout Brisbane and Logan.

We manage large-scale infrastructure and open space assets across 4 states & a broad range of market sectors - priding ourselves on delivering the highest levels of service through innovation, horticultural expertise & our technical asset management capability.About the role:You will play a key role in protecting and enhancing natural environments across council-managed lands, including mountain tracks and conservation areas such as those at Mount Coot-Tha.
This involves working across a variety of landscapes, from bushland reserves and steep terrain to waterways and high-use recreational trails, where you will actively contribute to the preservation of native ecosystems.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake on-ground conservation works across natural areas, bushland reserves, andcouncil-managed tracksPromote and support native vegetation growth through maintenance,



and regenerationactivitiesCarry out aquatic and riparian restoration worksApplication of herbicides for effective weed managementWork on a variety of council projects focused on ecosystem protection and rehabilitationMonitor and maintain environmental health across designated sitesEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with environmental best practicesAbout YouYou are reliable, physically fit, and enjoy working outdoors in a variety of environments.
