You'll provide hands-on support to the financial controller, all aspects of general bookkeeping and payroll.
Xero and Employment Hero are our tools of choice, and we are looking a general allrounder to join our finance team.In this role you will be responsible for:Accounts Payable - posting of invoices, payables aging reports and payment proposalsAccounts Receivable – responsible for the timely and accurate issuance of invoices, ensuring they are promptly sent to clients,
and maintaining regular oversight of the AR ageing to drive consistent and timely payments.Processing payroll for multiple entities in Australia and overseasManaging employee expensesDaily bank reconciliationsGenerating reports and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making including month-end and year-end close processesManaging multicurrency bank accountsGenerating reports and providing insightful analysis to support decision-makingLiaising with external accountants and auditors as requiredAbout YouYou enjoy working in a small size hands-on team.

Working in a hybrid WFM office, you'll need to be based in Sydney, where we have a strong culture of team work, socializing, supporting, and knowing each other.Skills and experienceMust be proficient in Xero and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Fluent English in reading and writingMinimum 4-5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholdersPositive work ethic and ability to work with a high level of autonomyExceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to use discretion and maintain confidentialityWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and superA cooperative and supportive and flexible work environment
