We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our professional kitchen team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a wide variety of authentic Korean dishes.Menu planning and seasonal menu development.Contribute to the development and improvement of new menu items and seasonal specials while maintaining authentic Korean flavours.Prepare, marinate, season and portion meat, seafood, vegetables and other ingredients for Korean BBQ and menu items.Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all food served.Maintain food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with NSW Food Safety regulations.Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and HACCP procedures.Monitor stock levels, rotate stock and minimise food waste.Ordering, receiving and storing food supplies.Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean,



organised and efficient kitchen.Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.Skills & ExperienceApplicants should have:Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent commercial kitchen experience.Minimum 1 year of full-time commercial cooking experience in Korean cuisine.Experience preparing authentic Korean cuisine, including Korean BBQ, is highly regarded.Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.Ability to work efficiently under pressure.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills.Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.What We OfferAnnual salary of $79,500 - $82,000 plus Superannuation.Stable full-time employment with a well-established Korean restaurant.Supportive and friendly working setting.Opportunity for career growth and professional development.Staff meals provided.
