Century Caravans and Trailers – Arundel QLDWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our Gold Coast team in Arundel.You will assist walk-in, phone and online customers with our range of trailers, caravans, UTE trays and canopies, aluminium loading ramps, accessories and related products.You will manage customer enquiries from initial contact through product recommendation, quotation, follow-up, sale and final handover.
You will also prepare trailer and caravan registration documents and customer information for submission to our head office for processing.This role suits someone who communicates confidently, follows up sales leads consistently, maintains accurate records and enjoys helping customers select the right product for their needs.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome walk-in customers and provide professional product assistanceAnswer incoming branch phone calls promptly and professionallyRespond promptly to email and online sales enquiriesUnderstand customer requirements and recommend suitable productsExplain product features, specifications, pricing and available optionsPrepare accurate quotations and follow up open enquiries and outstanding quotesConvert customer enquiries into sales and achieve agreed sales targetsProcess customer deposits, sales orders and related documentation accuratelyPrepare trailer and caravan registration documents and customer information, and submit them to head office for processingMaintain accurate customer details, sales records and follow-up informationCoordinate product availability and pre-delivery preparation with the operations teamArrange customer collection and delivery schedulesComplete trailer,



caravan and other product handovers in a professional and organised mannerExplain basic product operation, features and relevant handover information to customersBuild strong customer relationships and encourage repeat and referral businessKeep the showroom, office and product display areas clean, organised and presentableMaintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, specifications, pricing and promotionsPerform other reasonable duties required to support the day-to-day operation of the Gold Coast branchAbout YouAt least 1–2 years of proven sales or customer service experienceExperience in caravans, trailers, automotive, 4WD accessories, machinery or a related industry will be highly regardedStrong communication, customer service and negotiation skillsA demonstrated ability to follow up leads and achieve sales targetsSelf-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independentlyWell organised, with strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skillsConfident using computers, email and sales administration systemsA current Australian driver's licenceAvailability to work Saturdays as part of the regular rosterFull Australian working rightsA genuine commitment to helping customers select the right product for their needsWhat We OfferBase salary of $70,000 plus superannuation and commissionExpected OTE of approximately $75,000–$95,000, depending on sales performancePermanent full time employment with an established Australian businessProduct training and ongoing support from our sales and operations teamsA varied sales role across trailers, caravans, UTE trays and canopies, aluminium loading ramps and accessoriesAn opportunity to develop your product knowledge and sales career
