Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter/Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Taren Point facility in NSW.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
As a Maintenance Fitter/Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment used in our cosmetics production operations.
This role is essential to ensuring minimal downtime, optimal production output, and the highest standards of workplace safety across our operations.Key responsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevityDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical faults in manufacturing equipment using appropriate testing tools and equipmentCarry out repairs and replacements of faulty components, parts and systems across the facilityConduct inspections of machinery, equipment and facility systems to identify potential issues before they become critical problemsMaintain detailed maintenance records and documentation of all work completed, including parts used and time spent on each taskCollaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimise production disruptionsRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests to restore operations quicklyAssist in the setup and commissioning of new equipment as requiredFollow all health,



safety and environmental procedures and protocols at all timesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and maintenance efficiencyWhat we're looking forA recognised apprenticeship or trade qualification in mechanical fitting, maintenance engineering or related fieldMinimum of 1-3 years' practical experience as a Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and equipment manualsStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficientlyExperience with preventative and predictive maintenance programmesCompetence in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic testing equipmentA solid understanding of health, safety and environmental workplace requirementsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance recordsReliable,
