The RoleWe are currently seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator / Welder to join our energetic and supportive workshop team.
The role is primarily workshop/bench-based, focusing on the fabrication and welding of aluminium marine ventilation protection products.
You will also have the opportunity to work on general fabrication and engineering projects as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication, welding, and QA of aluminium marine products
Interpreting technical drawings and design packages
Assisting in general fabrication and engineering tasks as required




Ensuring high-quality finishes in line with project specifications
What You'll Bring:
Trade qualification or relevant hands-on experience
Strong aluminium fabrication and welding skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings confidently
Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent time management and ability to work independently
Previous marine industry experience (highly regarded)
Candidates must be experienced in both TIG and MIG welding processes.
Formal welding certifications are not required at application stage, however candidates must demonstrate competency through practical skills testing.
Applicants must be able to confidently interpret all drawing types including basic 2D drawings, complex 2D drawings, and 3D CAD files.
