Pool Cleaner (Part Time) | InterContinental Sanctuary Cove ResortAs the world's largest family of luxury hotels, we all take great pride in being genuine ambassadors of the InterContinental® brand.Shaped by decades of international know-how and local insights, our passion for luxury travel spans cultures and customs— inspiring us to create warm and sophisticated experiences for those seeking a richer perspective on the world.As the first InterContinental Resort to land in Australia, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort reflects the grand, graceful architecture of a classic Queensland estate, nestled within the beautiful surrounds of Sanctuary Cove.We are seeking a motivated and reliable Pool Cleaner/Handyperson (Part Time or Casual) to join our Engineering team.Your day to dayIn this hands‐on role, you will help maintain the cleanliness, presentation and day‐to‐day condition of our resort pools, spas and surrounding areas, ensuring our aquatic facilities are secure, welcoming and maintained to the high standards expected of a luxury resort.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering exceptional standards and has a strong commitment to safety and guest service.Duties include:Clean and maintain resort pools, spas and water features to ensure a consistently high standard of presentationConduct routine water testing and report any irregularities to the Aquatic Technical teamRemove debris, vacuum pools and maintain pool surroundsClean pool furniture, shower areas and associated facilitiesAssist with routine pool maintenance activities and basic equipment checksMonitor aquatic areas for cleanliness, hazards and maintenance requirementsReport faults,
