We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Island Bus Tour Driver to join our team in a full-time capacity.
In this role, you will transport guests across our stunning island while delivering engaging, informative commentary and creating memorable experiences.
This is more than just a driving role, you will be a storyteller, host, and ambassador for the island.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate island tour buses across sand roads and beachfront terrain
Deliver engaging and informative commentary on the island's history, wildlife, and attractions
Assist guests boarding and disembarking the bus, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tour vehicles
Provide exceptional, friendly customer service at all times
Follow all safety, compliance, and operational procedures
Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence (minimum 2 years' driving experience)
Current Queensland Driver Authorisation (DA)
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
A Valid QLD Blue Card (Working with children check).
MR or HR manual licence
About You




You are a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and sharing knowledge.
Ideally, you bring:
Experience in a tour guiding or customer-facing role (tourism preferred)
Solid communication and storytelling skills
A friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
Knowledge of, or passion for, local history, nature, and wildlife
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
