Our participants have varying support needs, including Autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, physical disability, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), chronic pain and anxiety.The RoleDepending on your experience, availability and participant compatibility, shifts may include:Assistance with daily living and personal careCommunity access and social participationSupporting independence and life skillsTransport to appointments and activitiesProviding emotional support and encouragementSupporting participants with routines and personal goalsWorking collaboratively with families and the Bay Haven Support teamWe are particularly interested in Support Workers who are patient, dependable, engaging and genuinely passionate about building meaningful, professional relationships with participants.About YouYou will be someone who understands that excellent support is about more than completing tasks.
