With manufacturing facilities across New South Wales and Victoria, we proudly deliver high-quality engineering solutions throughout Australia and internationally.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise welding activities and ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), relevant standards and project specifications.Conduct daily welding inspections and quality audits in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
Verify compliance with applicable Australian Standards, welding codes and customer requirements.Review welding documentation, inspection reports, material certificates and quality records.Maintain welder qualification records and coordinate qualification testing to meet project requirements.Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance against delivery documentation and Material Test Certificates (MTCs).




Maintain welding traceability records and quality documentation throughout each project.Ensure WPSs, Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs), Welder Qualification Records (WQRs) and associated documentation remain current and compliant.Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Supervisors and Production teams to achieve safe, productive and high-quality project outcomes.Procure project-related materials and components and prepare internal material requisitions as required.About YouTrade qualification in Welding, Fabrication or a related engineering discipline (preferred).
Must be Australian citizens/Permanent residents.Demonstrated experience in a Welding Inspection and/or QA/QC role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Strong knowledge of welding processes, Australian Standards, welding codes and quality management systems.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Strong computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and communication skills.A proactive approach with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Why Join A&G; Engineering?
