Reporting to the State Manager, you will oversee a diverse and complex network including interstate linehaul (road and rail) and local distribution.This position has arisen through internal promotion, reflecting our commitment to recognising and developing our people.
You will be supported by an experienced State Manager and leadership team, providing strong operational guidance while giving you the autonomy to lead your team and drive performance across safety,



service and operational excellence.This role is suited to an experienced transport leader with strong industry knowledge who can confidently manage operations, people and customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and efficiency.You'll be responsible for:Demonstrate strong leadership and commitment to the safety of all people affected by our operationsDeliver exceptional and cost-effective customer service, including managing key customer and client relationshipsLiaise with internal and external senior management and stakeholdersLead, manage and motivate operational teams to deliver optimal outcomesOversee various transport operations including interstate road, rail and local distributionDrive process improvement and change management initiatives across operationsMaintain strong financial oversight, including cost control, P&L; ownership, budgeting, KPI monitoring and reportingManage HR-related matters at first contact including employee engagement, ER/IR matters and performance managementEnsure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR legislation, WHS/OHS requirements and heavy vehicle regulationsWhy This RoleLead a complex and diverse transport operation across interstate linehaul and local distributionWork alongside a highly experienced State Manager who will support your successJoin a business that develops its leaders,
