Built upon family foundations, we enable our people to enjoy the family feel work environment, while having the chance to pursue a career, gain valuable new skills and make a difference.Industrial Blaster/Painter - About the Role:MPV Sandblasting and Coating Services is seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Sandblaster/Painter to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for sandblasting, operating sandblasting equipment, the inspection of surfaces for any damages or imperfections and carrying out necessary repairs, selecting appropriate paints and mixing to requirements, operating painting equipment, painting/coating to specifications, performing routine maintenance, adherence to HSEQ procedures as well as maintaining accurate records of activities and materials used.Preparing surfaces for sandblastingOperating sandblasting equipmentRegular inspections of surfaces with necessary repairs carried out continuouslyLarge variety of industrial blasting and painting - differing tasks and scopesMaintenance of sandblasting tools and equipment,



with the ability to troubleshoot maintenance concerns and make necessary repairs/recommendationsSelect the appropriate paint or mix paints according to a predetermined formula per manufacturer and or customer specificationsOperate spray equipment or other painting or product coating equipment as requiredClean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipmentTake environmental reading prior to and during the painting and coating processAbility to fill out and coordinate paperworkStrict adherence to HSEQ policies and proceduresTrack and document activities and materials used accuratelyAbility to work autonomouslyAbout youWe are seeking a reliable individual with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a safety-conscious approach, a valid driver's license with reliable transport, and their own accommodation.Minimum 2 years proven sandblasting and painting experienceConstruction White CardAbility to work independently, and part of a teamReliable and consistent with your workWillingness and flexibility to travel for work as needed
