Provisional Psychologist / Rehab CounsellorInhouse Provisional Psychologist Program: As a Provisional Psychologist, understanding the pathway to General Registration can be overwhelming, which is why Pinnacle Rehab have carefully designed a tailored psychological internship program to support you on your registration journey, whether you are currently completing yourMastersstudies and looking to work in the psychological field (AWOP) or have entered into your internship year (5+1).

office days and work-from-homeOngoing support in a collaborative and fun team environmentThe OpportunityDue to growth across the business and our expanding Psych Division we currently have a new opportunity for aMaster ofPsychology Graduate or experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor looking for more exposure to complex psych claims to join our Team!
Full induction, training, and buddy system provided to set you up for success.
Including weekly and monthly team meetings targeted at developing your exposure to differentpsychometricsassessments and interventions.
In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with a psychologicalinjury, creating and monitoring rehabilitation planswhich aimto gradually return your clients back to work.
You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.Looking after a client portfolio, your day will include:Completinginitialpsychological assessments which will provide a comprehensivelook into an injured workersbiopsychosocial barrier'sProviding a tailored intervention approach to recoveryand developingappropriatereturnto work plansConductingvocationalassessments,rehabilitationand vocational counselling and motivational interviewing techniquesProviding support through recommendations for communityassistanceoradditionalsupport through the insurerWorking within amulti-disciplinary team to provide complex stakeholdermanagementto support the recovery of an injured workerDocument case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements,
