We are seeking a detail-driven and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team.
This role offers the prospect to contribute to the day-to‐day financial operations of a purpose‐led Australian brand, while developing your accounting career in a collaborative and values‐driven environment.
You will gain hands‐on experience across key accounting functions, working closely with a supportive team and playing an integral role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support month‐end and year‐end close processesPrepare and post accurate journal entriesPerform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with quarterly BAS preparation and complianceSupport accounts payable, receivable and payroll processesMaintain accurate financial records to support audit and reporting requirementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
About You




1–3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance roleDegree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (or currently studying)Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting systemsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical capabilityWell‐organised with the ability to manage competing prioritiesClear and professional communication skillsA proactive team player with a mindset for continuous improvementExposure to ERP systemsInterest in financial analysis and reportingA willingness to take initiative and grow within the businessAbility to work both independently and collaboratively
