About the Role Working closely with drivers, customers and the operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport activities, ensuring efficient fleet utilization and delivering exceptional service while maintaining compliance and safety standards.




Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage a fleet of container trucks operating across Sydney Allocate and monitor driver movements throughout the shift Plan and optimise daily work schedules Liaise with drivers, customers and port operations to ensure on-time deliveries and collections Monitor vehicle productivity and respond quickly to operational issues Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and company procedures Maintain accurate transport records and communicate effective shift handovers About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Fleet Controller, Allocator or Transport Scheduler Essential: Strong knowledge of Sydney wharf cartage and container transport operations Experience coordinating container movements to and from Port Botany Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure Strong computer skills and experience using transport management systems A proactive attitude with a strong customer service focus What's on Offer Permanent full-time position Day and Night Shift opportunities available Competitive salary package Secure role with a well-established transport business Supportive and experienced operations team Modern fleet and systems Immediate start available for the right candidate If you're an experienced Fleet Controller with a solid background in wharf cartage and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
